Here at We The Curl, we celebrate all curls! We are also here to help you understand everything about your hair! Different curls have different needs and we want to help you find the right routine for YOUR curls! Remember, we often have different types of curls and textures all around our head so don’t be afraid to mix and match products and routines to find your wash-day ride or die!
Curly
Curly hair can mean so many different things. Curly hair is usually described as spirals, springs or ringlets! Volume is something you see in the mirror, not just a button on your phone. Curly tends to be thick and coarse.
The tighter the curl, the harder it is for natural hydration from the scalp to reach the ends of your hair. After showering, we recommend using one of our co-washes as a leave-in conditioner! Add a dime sized amount to your palms and apply sparingly to the bottom half of your hair. Adding too much won’t hurt your hair, it will just provide less volume and movement! Opt for the coily co-wash if you feel like your hair could use some extra deep hydration!If you struggle with frizz, try spraying our no-frizz spray into your palms first and applying directly to the areas you need it most. This helps you have more control over where you apply it!

Coily
Coils resemble tight springs and corkscrews. Coily hair tends to be more dry as it can be difficult for natural oils to reach the end of the hair strand.
That’s why we made our co-wash for coily hair thicker and heavier! Our ACV rinse was created to cleanse hair without stripping hair of its natural hydration. Make sure you aren’t cleansing too often as this can ultimately hurt your hair health! After cleansing, be sure to apply a dime or quarter sized amount of co-wash to your strands as a leave-in conditioner and styler! If you want to fight even more frizz, spray the no-frizz spray into your palm so that you can apply it directly where you want it! No matter your curl type, texture or pattern, we love your curls! Wavy
Hair that could be considered wavy has a loose bend to it, your hair probably resembles the letter “s” but could be loose or tight.
Wavy hair loves hydration but can be weighed down easily. We recommend using our Curly Co-wash with our salt styling spray! Scrunch your hair and diffuse or let it air-dry to give your waves some extra definition! Finish with the no-frizz spray if you struggle with fly-aways!
